Our events usually sell-out, so we generally have between 200 & 250 people booked on, depending on the venue capacity.

As the events are typically sold-out by the date, we have equal amounts of each gender booked on!

It’s a lot more relaxed and less awkward than your standard singles event. You don’t have to speak to anyone that you don’t want to & you have an easy reason with the padlock & key to move in and out of conversations easily if you do wish to move on. In fact it doesn’t feel like a singles event at all, it just feels like a normal night out, aside from the fact that everyone there is single!

Plenty do yes! However we do set up WhatsApp groups, 4 weeks before the events, one for men and women coming on their own, so they can chat to others in the same boat & they usually arrange to meet up near the venue on the night & come in together, so nobody has to walk in alone, unless they want to!

It’s a great way to meet some new single friends too! If you’d like adding to a WhatsApp group, message us WhatsApp at 075 75 75 85 39 with which event & your name & we’ll add you! (Please note groups are Male only & female only – they are not mixed)

Upon arrival guys are given a padlock & ladies get a key & for the first few hours, you have to try as many as padlocks/keys as possible to try and find the key/padlock which unlocks yours! If you do, you get a raffle ticket with both your names & go into a draw later in the night to win a cash prize of up to £200! But the best thing about it is it takes away any awkwardness of what to say to start conversations & also gives you an opportunity to continue moving on should you want to.
Why are these better than dating apps?

1. More time effective – Get to meet a high volume of single people in one night.
2. You often know instantly when meeting someone if there is any chemistry, so no time wasted messaging for days/weeks before only to not have that chemistry in person.
3. You’re not judging & writing people off on the basis of a paragraph or few pictures. You might actually be able to get over socks with sandals if you got to know them & fall in love with them first!

8.15pm-8.30pm – Single Mingle Games – Fancy a go of spinning the Single Mingle Prize wheel? Volunteer for the games, there’s only a few take part, everyone else just spectates.

8.30pm-9.30pm – Photo Booth Props – Grab a wig, hat, glasses & an inflatable guitar & get some photos taken by our amazing photographer Ian!

9pm – Padlock & Key Winners announced.

8pm-11pm – Our amazing DJ will be playing all your favourite tunes to dance away to! Including 90’s dance classics after the padlock & key winners have been announced.
